Pain management during burns debridement (Alfred Hospital) The Alfred trial is the biggest trial of its type ever conducted worldwide. A large trial was commenced because of positive results in a case study, followed by a pilot study. The trial will be completed in 2007.

The Shiners trial was completed in June 2006. Professor McCall (a world renowned pain specialist anaesthetist) is compiling data for publication.
